Pre-workshop instructions

Prior to the workshop, please complete the following steps:

1. Software

Download and install the latest versions of jamovi.

• You can download jamovi from here.

Tip

Click jamovi Desktop box near the top of the screen, then select the version from the computer you are using.

Now, go ahead and launch jamovi. You should see a window that looks like the image shown below.

2. Data

We are going to use the LPD public police stop data from 2023 during this workshop. This data is maintained and shared by the city government
